[CONEXPO 2014] A Perfect Combination : Doosan, Bobcat, DIPP, Attachment

Doosan Infracore Co., Ltd. participated in and proactively carried out marketing activities at ‘ConExpo-Con/Agg 2014,’ the world’s largest-scale construction heavy equipment exhibition held in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S., on March 4-8. Doosan Infracore installed a large outdoor booth (4,000m2) with Doosan Bobcat, standing shoulder to shoulder with other main construction equipment makers, at Gold Lot, located right across from North Hall of the Convention Center. It is 929㎡ bigger than that of three years ago. As Doosan, Bobcat and DIPP were brought together, and over 60 different line-ups including a new model of excavator were presented, it attracted great interest from the visitors. Montabert and Geith booths were installed at North Hall, and Doosan Infracore Engine BG booth was separately placed at South Hall.
At ConExpo-Con/Agg, as a top three exhibition in the construction equipment sector held every three years, more than 2,400 companies worldwide have gathered in the 7,000㎡ exhibition hall. The exhibition was a great success, attracting 130,000 visitors.

Communication Director Laura Ness Owens, who was in charge of communication in the exhibition, said, “The concept of the exhibition is completely ‘customer-oriented.’ She added, “We made sure that exhibition is naturally led to sales through the adequate allocation of human resources to accurately identify customers’ needs, human resource development through training and more.” She explained, “We also adequately installed small devices here and there, so that customers who visit our booth would stay longer for the great time they have.”

Doosan Infracore achieved a significant outcome as more customers are aware of ‘Doosan’ brand compared to ConExpo 2011 held three years ago. Ben Rodriguez, Field Part Manager at West Fargo Office, said “I was happy throughout the exhibition because I received positive feedbacks from many visitors such as ‘I use Doosan equipment’ or ‘I know a lot of people who like Doosan equipment.” Doosan Booth was crowded with a number of visitors including AP/E dealers and customers. According to David Kim, the Regional Sales Manager of Singapore, the trip to CONEXPO was a great chance to build confidence among customers in the AP/E region. One of his Singaporean customers said “I came to realize that Doosan is a truly global company! I’m impressed with its brand presence and reliable products.”
